Our class theme for the spaghetti basket is, Cafe`. Ideas include gift cards to Starbucks, Espresso Mojo, or Mc D's, cool mugs, coffee makers, filters, creamers, various coffee, etc...

I want to thank everyone in advance for bringing in items. Thanks to Mrs. Manis, and Mr. and Mrs. Casto for sending in snacks during SAT 10. All of the kids really appreciated it, and did I.

Spelling Test 3/27

http://www.spellingcity.com/index.php?option=com_spellcity&task=teachMe

Check out this site for your words this week. It would not allow colleagues, or bio-terrorist, so you will have to study those two words separately. Please have a foldable, or note cards with the word and definition for tomorrow.
Thank you,
Mrs. Casto

SAT Spelling

Here is a great site I will be using more often. Right now I want you to use the site to practice the words for SAT 10. When you click on the site it will take you to a list of words. Below the words will be 3 buttons. Click on test me first; go through all the words; then try the games, and test me buttons.

Code Orange

Update For Code Orange:
I decided to hold off on Code Orange till after SAT 10. I expect every student to have the book by Monday the 23rd. For each day that you do not have the book you will not get reading credit for that day. Normally I am not this strict, but you have had over 3 weeks to get the book by the time we begin reading it.

http://dictionary.reference.com/ Make sure you are writing the correct definition. Also make sure you do not use the spelling word in the definition. A synonym is acceptable as long as you know what it means.
